I'm a St. Louis area native who got into photography sometime around 2006 after taking a couple of photography classes at the local community college. As most photo students do, I started out with a 35mm SLR, but I've expanded my interests and collection to include a multitude of different cameras: these include Canon 40D, Lumix GF-1 and a Lumix GX-1, cell-phone camera, a couple of Yashica 35mm range finders, pin hole cameras and a mass of cheap plastic 'toy' cameras.
