I’m a recently retired guy who has been making images for about five decades; can’t say it was a hobby, nor a passion – somewhere in between. My photographic interest has always been in landscapes, (unfortunately, I’ve got a closet full of Kodachrome slides to prove it). I moved to digital about a decade ago, but didn’t get serious with digital until about five years ago.

I split my time between AZ and CO so most of my images are from those states. But I do try to get around the other western states as much as possible.

I shoot Nikon; started with a D70, went to a D700 (now my back-up), and now a D800E as primary. Using LR5, CS6, Photomatix, and Nik in post.
