Jason Yong Biography

As a teenager, I remember looking at photos my mother had taken when I was 3 or 4, at park, highlands trips etc.

The photos seemed to keep the memories alive. I felt fortunate that my mother had taken pictures as we were growing up.

Within years after starting full-time work, at the age of 15, my uncle gives me a Canon AT-1 35MM film camera.

My mother’s pictures and the memories they captured may have been the inspiration for my first camera purchase.

In the mid 2013 my friends and I bought each of us a new camera Canon 70D and we shot lots of traveller, traditional work and street photo.

I began prints and publishing them to the flickr web pages.

In about the year 2015 I bought a Canon 6D, my first full frame camera.
