I am an enthusiastic hobbyist. I always have recorded my family and especially my sons as the grow, (grew), up.After shooting film for years with Minolta AF equipment, I bought my first DSLR-(Nikon/D50), before going on a trip. I took countless family pics and jobsite pics, with it but never felt the need to get out of AUTO!

In 2007 I had an illness that caused me to be wheelchair bound. Photography is one hobby that I can still participate in, and I'm here just to hopefully keep improving. I'm happy to say that I very rarely use AUTO mode. I have Canon equipment now and 5 L lenses. I do know that nice equipment does not make a good photographer, but I have everything I need as I grow into it. Again, I'm here to learn and get inspired!
