Back in photography after about 30 years of hibernation. While still in junior collage I managed to buy a Minolta XG-M with the kit lens in 1981 and even a Vivitar 70-300 lens a bit later. But as a college student back then I hardly could afford the films. Got interested in photography again in January 2013 when my sister´s daughter came back in one piece and unfrozen from her solo trip to the South Pole.

My sister had bought her a Canon 600 D to take with her on the trip and it held up to the weather conditions there, so I bought the then recently released Canon 650 D. Am now on my third DSLR ;)
