Hi,

my name is Maarten, 24 years old and I live in Belgium.

I discovered SLR when I started using my mothers Zenit-B after she passed away. Packed with only 2 lenses and my camera I started shooting. Pretty soon I bought some extra cameras like the Zenit XP,canon eos 3, a photosniper, Zenit Es and my sister gave me her old minolta. Shooting was fun, but because I was still in the learning process the filmrolls started costing me a lot of money, also to develop them with the chance of having one single shot that worked out well.

I realized I needed a Digital SLR so I could do more experiments. It would cost a lot of money but in the end I would save money. Another reason ls that filmrolls can't be bought anymore at any shop. So I bought a Canon 40D and now and then I still shoot with my Zenit-B, it totally rocks!

So actually I'm only about 5 months shooting digital and I really enjoy it when I find the time.

If you desire to copy one of my pictures please do ask. If the photo will be used for personal use I wont refuse, but just ask. Not that my photos are oh so fantastic but you never know.
