Cynthia's photos, I think, reflect the way she sees the world. Based on her comments and messages, I feel as though she views the world with an inquisitive nature, and is always seeking to learn. This is reflected in many of her self-portraits, by the expressions on her face. She seldom has a broad smile nor a bland expression. It's often a knowing half-smirk of amusement at the whole process. Her ability to generate conversation about her photos is what first drew me in and her ability to constantly generate interesting work is what keeps me viewing. I believe the art community thrives on building off of each other's work. Her work is something to keep an eye on, and if she ever comes around asking how you did something, you'd be wise to share the knowledge!
