Sak was born in 1964 in the Bolu province of Turkey. He completed his primary, junior high school, and high school education in Bolu, and graduated from the Painting Division of the Fine Arts Education Department, Faculty of Education, Abant İzzet Baysal University. He currently continues his teaching activities in Bolu, and worked as the “Art Director” of the Municipality of Bolu Mehmet Yücetürk Art Center between 1994-2013. SAK uses all sorts of techniques in his works, and mostly works on the “fish” form with his unique style. He has had 35 individual exhibitions in various provinces of Turkey and another countries since 1993. He has also participated in more than 300 International Exhibitions, Biennales, and Triennials in more than 30 different countries. He received national and international awards. His works have been published in numerous books and catalogues. He had artistic activities in many different countries. Sak’s works are kept in various public and private collections in Turkey and overseas, and he is a member of the International Association of Plastic Arts (Unesco-A.I.A.P) and GESAM…

1964 yılında Bolu’da doğdu. Abant İzzet Baysal Üniversitesi, Eğitim Fakültesi, Resim-İş Eğitimi Bölümü’nden mezun oldu. 1993 yılından itibaren 28’si Türkiye’de, 7’si de yurt dışında olmak üzere toplam 35 kişisel sergi açtı. 40’dan fazla ülkede 300’ün üzerinde karma ve grup sergileri, çeşitli bienal, trianel ve sanatsal etkinliğe katıldı. Değişik ülkelerde sanatsal çalışmalarda bulundu. Ulusal ve Uluslararası ödüller aldı. Çalışmaları, çok sayıda kitap ve katalogda yayınlandı. Yurtiçi ve yurt dışındaki özel ve resmi pek çok seçkin koleksiyonda eserleri bulunan SAK, Unesco-(A.I.A.P) Uluslararası Plastik Sanatlar Derneği ve GESAM üyesidir.
1994-2013 Yılları arasında, Bolu Belediyesi Sanat Merkezi’nde Sanat Yönetmenliği ve 1998-2016 yılları arasında MEB’e bağlı çeşitli öğretim kurumlarında "Sanat Eğitimciliği" yaptı.. Çalışmalarını halen Bolu'daki özel atölyesinde sürdürmektedir.
25 yıldan bu yana, sadece ‘balık’ temalı eserler üretmektedir.

Senol creates his own style. His works paintined in confident brush strokes showing the artist ability in the various medium. You can feel his love toward fish, painting and life.

Fishpainter has some incredible collaging techniques under his belt. These fish paintings/assemblages/collages/creations are delicious to look at. I really hope he's going to be making more pics like this. Excellent stuff. Blue skies love Roy
