My name is Salaymal Sagoleh, My friends’ call me “Sal” for short. I was born in a small village called Con Tien, Chau Doc Providence, Vietnam. I was taught from the beginning what it was to trade precious treasures. My grandparents sold antiques, diamonds and other precious color stones for customers’

I immigrated to America in November 1983. I was only 21 years old with a young family

In 1986, I started my antique business by first selling vintage t-shirts and Jeans at Swap Meets every Saturday and Sunday. As a jade lover, I started to collecting and selling jade. As my jade business grew, I expanded into collecting and selling, pearls and Asian antiques such as bronze and porcelain pieces. My business took me to the antiques shows throughout California, and many other cities.

My passion for Asian antiques consumes me. If I am not traveling throughout Asia or at an antique shows, displaying my rare and valuable collection. I am either meetings with customers, clean and polishing my pieces, or researching. I enjoy and spend countless hours in libraries and bought numerous books studying the history of Asian art, antique and treasure; learning why certain materials like clay changes color over time and why bronze changes into patina.

After two decades in the antiques business, articles written about me has appeared in magazines, newspapers and trade press. My reputation is well known in antique communities. My antiques can be found in the room of many writers and celebrities, lawyers, and doctors. My clients often fly from the other side of the world, like Australia, Europe and Asia to bring back valuable and rare treasures from my collection. My petvee is sometimes it is not easy to let go of even the tiniest piece of one’s passion for any price.

For past time that does not involve antiques, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing soccer, and singing. As I travel throughout Asia. I had taken the roads less traveled and found myself in places like the “land of the giants”. I can say that my life is full of adventures and treasures.
