I'm just your run-of-the-mill rarity; positively pessimistic; nondescript beauty; closed-minded free-thinker; stable mercurial; Silent screamer; intellectual idiot; God-fearing atheist; non-crying blubber-er; sober alcoholic, who can always make up her mind!...I think...

No really: Now, my captive audience...(*gleefully rubbing hands together*)

About me! I'm a "what you see is what you get" kinda make-up wearing tom-boy. Not overly sentimental but passionate about what I stand for; friendly, up-beat, energetic, eternally optimistic, quick to love, college educated, author, comic, singer, animal lover, movie buff, bartender, gourmet cook, flex-yoga addict, forever taking pictures and collector of famous quotes.

I'm one woman who knows herself very well...I don't cry over spilt milk, I don't freak out over a broken nail, I hate tear-jerkers, chick flicks, and don't expect me to join the gal-pal mob to girl-talk in the bathroom unless I'm drinkin' and I need to pee. (and completely contrary to all of that, I sell Mary Kay! Figure that one out!) Spank your inner beauty queen.

I'm an adapter, and adopter of different cultures. I appreciate unique styles and appreciate what makes us all special, so I have an eclectic view on things in that I tend to say thank you with a "Mahalo" and exit stage left with an "adios"...and switch it up the next day to "BonJour" and "Buenos Dias"...I like to keep it fresh.

I am currently immersed in writing three books; one is a collection of short stories, one is an inspirational/self-help, the lastly, a Sci-fi novel. I'm also creating my own cookbook containing my secret recipes that I get mobbed for at every pot-luck or party.

I love anything having to do with self expression and learning what makes us all tick...besides our biological clocks. (p.s: thank God, mine's broke.)

I firmly believe that anyone can be a hero (even if you never save a bus-full of nuns), and it all has to do with tapping your inner strength and how you see yourself. A positive outlook and true self-love can open many doors to assisting others in finding what their special gifts are, for everyone has them, and few taps them...but I firmly believe that an amazing existence can be built from a mere, singular dream. My dad has always said, "The brain is a muscle that can move the world"...so true!

so, to sum it all up, fly with YOUR dreams. Think big, play large, dream huge, live gigantic, and Love Beyond Measure and capture as much of it as you can on film because life is a gift, allbeit a very short one!

In the words of Doug Butabi (from "A Night At The Roxburry") "You can take away my car, and you can take away my phone, but you can't take away my dreams 'cuz I'm - like sleeping when I have them!"

P.S.

I comment on images that not only capture my attention but also evoke an emotion, and I try to capture images myself that are in that genre as well; I hope I succeed. I welcome all comments and appreciate all feedback. I can handle healthy criticism so please let me know if my work touches you or leaves you cold.

I don't mind if you fav my pics (unless you have faved one of the kids on my stream, and then you turn out not to have pics, contacts, icon photo, and little naked boys/girls on your stream and nothing else, etc)...perves will be blocked and reported!

Now, I digress...

I hope someday to sell some of my photo-work (to magazines; websites) although I haven't a clue on how to bust into the system. Tips are also welcome if you feel I have a future in the biz.

Love yourself for you are unique, a complete miracle and there is no-one like you and therefore, un-replaceable!

Gracias for taking the time to read my Mucho Babble!
