The Navy Public Affairs Support Element East (NPASE East) is an expeditionary public affairs command that embarks Navy media specialists aboard deployable units around the world. NPASE East Sailors provide public affairs support, media coverage, and media products as either independently or when augmenting a command's own media department. The mission of Navy public affairs is to document and tell the Navy's story. The mission of NPASE East's Expeditionary Skills Courses is to better equip all Navy media personnel with continued education to provide that coverage to the Sailors of the U.S. Navy and the American public.
