I would like to stress that none of my images have been manipulated in Photoshop other than to adjust contrast, color rendition or to burn and dodge specific areas. Many of the images utilized good old-fashioned film and were subsequently scanned. Some of the effects were achieved by scratching emulsion, utilizing special lenses (e.g. a macro or Nikon's Defocus Control), multiple exposures or created in-camera (as with the Holga, which has its own personality).
