I have a deep love for old photographs and collect them from many places, including estate sales, eBay, and Facebook Marketplace. I especially value photos in which the people are identified, because that allows me to research their lives and create family trees for them on Ancestry.com. I also upload entire family photo collections to Flickr and post individual portraits on Find A Grave.

I’ve already completed several families—many of which can be found on Flickr—and I have many more to work on. I find it fascinating to learn about these families and the experiences they lived through so long ago. Each photograph tells a story, and piecing those stories together feels like honoring lives that might otherwise be forgotten.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I own all of the photographs I share, but you are welcome to download and use them however you wish. They are all released under a Public Domain Dedication license.

If you recognize or are related to anyone in these photos, I would truly love to hear from you.
