Drag to set position!
Do a lot of whitewater boating. Rivers have allowed us access to places that would otherwise have been difficult if not impossible to access. Hikes, whether in side canyons or just near home, have provided opportunity to see and photograph some cool things.
Special interest in photography of flowers, plants, insects other critters of the wild.
Landscapes, action shots, sunsets, colors and lines, clouds are also a focus point (pun intended).
I enjoy both the macro and micro concepts - opposite ends of the spectrum (telephoto & close-up lens). I prefer at this point to do as little editing as possible, partly in the interest of historical (what's in a picture) or scientific concepts of long-term ecological studies which go back to old photos and data of what was there and partly because it means more time at the computer than I would like to spend - need more time out doing things and taking pictures.
Variety does help you learn new things.
Photography helps you see things in a different way
