My photographic pursuits began at age 10 with a Polaroid camera. Finding that a bit limiting over time, I moved up to an Olympus OM-1 when I was 15. Nowadays, I almost exclusively take digital, and I especially enjoy macro photography.

I have always appreciated all the incredible colors in nature, and over the past few years have gravitated towards butterflies and other insects. A friend just suggested that I post some photos I've taken on Flickr for others to enjoy. The species I work with are generally ones which come from all over the world and are therefore insects I have personally mounted. This gives the opportunity to really study the incredible artistry and intricate design they display. I hope that you find them as fascinating as I do!
