Hello, thanks for stopping by!

I live in Rio, Brazil, where I work as an attorney at law. When off-duty, I devote my time to my family and to exploring a variety of subjects ranging from philosophy, psychology to, of course, photography.

Art mediated by photography is one of these things in life that makes us human. It may touch people´s deepest emotions, convey messages or even shake our once unshakable beliefs. As a photographer I believe that philosophy, psychology and photography are not only related but highly intertwined. And it is to these fields that I turn to in search for conceptual and theoretical foundation that will help me build a vision. Art is a brain thing! ;-)

But it goes without saying that by “a vision” I mean "as many visions as a life-long experience can create". Living is changing and changing is adaptive. This is why I consider developing visions the real challenge in photography. It´s a developing, life-long experience.
