I'm a full-time student and amateur photographer living in Fort Collins, Colorado. I have very little photography experience but I love learning new styles and techniques. Most of my current styles and techniques I have learned through a photography class. These skills are implemented into my photography and help me take a stronger and larger variety of photos.

My personal style that can be seen in my photos is emotional and thought provoking. I love shooting photos of people because of the depth a photo of a person can have. This depth is created by expression, lighting and background. I love adjusting those things to create more depth and emotion in my photos.

I would also like to get into more varieties of photography as I expand my skillset. These are photos of my hobbies like landscapes because I'm an avid hiker, sports photography and climbing. These categories will help me as a photographer increase my photos interestingness. Landscape and climbing photography especially interest me because they are all about composition and I feel that is a strong point in my photography. Action shots of sports interest me because it is one of the more common forms of photography and I would have the potential to make money through it.

Generally as a photographer I try to avoid taking photos that don't mean anything or make sense and this helps me in keeping my photo stream interesting and valuable. My photo career, although short, has developed immensely over time and has set me up to be a better photographer in the future.

My photo career is amateur at the moment but my skillset is growing. The Nikon 3100 is my most commonly used camera and is very versatile and beneficial to my photography.

The resources I use when taking photos are those available to me at school which includes reflectors, diffusers, backgrounds and studio lights and these help a lot in expanding my photo knowledge and my ability to take better photo's.
