Started into photography back in the late 80's, went to art college got an apprentice as a graphic photographer at a printers.......Then got bored and joined the army.....Played with film cameras on and off but it was far to expensive to get into at the time.
About 6 months ago a friend "donated" a Cannon 10D to me (Thanks Alan) Anyway That was enough to spark my interest again and I bought a Nikon D5000 about a month back. Still very much at the "what dose this button do" stage but Digital photography allows you to see your mistakes in real time without any film developing costs!
Any comments both useful and mildly sarcastic are more than welcome, I'm a bit of a biker and I tend to ride to places on top of hills, the plan is to cart the camera gear with me from now on but it being winter at the moment the bikes tucked up in the garage :)
Update!
Well after a couple of years getting back into it and a year religiously shooting bikes up in the hills I landed a freelance photography gig with a National Bike magazine! Still learning, still trying new things, still loving it! Thanks to Alan for the camera, Grav for the opportunity to shoot for his written articles and to Blue the editor at 100% Biker magazine for the positive comments and advice....Oh and everyone up on the hill for being willing models, keep it safe but fun ;)
