I take photos for a variety of reasons - mostly to document my daughter's activities (boxes of FILM photos before I was chided into switching to digital...), to fulfill my obligation as the unofficial photographer for family events, and lately just to capture interesting images.

Most of my photos are unretouched, straight out of the camera. I prefer the honesty of the art and ability of the photographer in that form. (Also, because I don't own any of the software LOL)
