The Torre del Calç is a sustainability and community project in the hills above Girona in Catalonia. We share an ancient stone house in the forest and, with the help of friends, neighbours and volunteers we are trying to change the way we live. The project is about many things: getting back to nature, exploring self-sufficiency, producing our own food, cutting down our consumption, being kinder to the planet, relating to each other differently, building resilience through community, recycling, composting, sharing, dancing, making music and generally celebrating this rich and wonderful life.
