Ich bin Grafik-Designerin und Illustratorin und lebe in Coburg. Ob auf Reisen in Italien, Griechenland, Hamburg oder der Nordsee, auf Design-Messen wie der Typo Berlin oder in Coburg – mein Skizzenbuch ist fast immer dabei, wenn ich unterwegs bin. Ich liebe es, einen besonderen Moment direkt vor Ort mit schnellen Strichen festzuhalten. Dabei ist die Kunst, das Typische bei Mensch und Situation zu treffen, da ja alles in Bewegung ist. Wichtig ist mir die Stimmung und nicht die detailgetreue Wiedergabe. Ich arbeite mit schwarzem Faserstift, Aquarellstiften und einem Pinsel mit Wassertank. Manchmal kommen noch Aquarellfarben dazu, aber nie ein Bleistift oder Radiergummi.

I love to capture a special moment on the spot with fast strokes. It is the art of meeting the typical in man and situation, since everything is in motion. Important to me is the mood and not the detailed reproduction. I work with black fiber pencil, watercolor pencils and a brush with water tank. Sometimes watercolor paints are added, but never a pencil or eraser.
