I am an elementary school teacher and a mom. I have always loved taking pictures way back to when I was little and used my grandfather's folding land camera. I remember how exciting it was to wait for them to develop, then to pull the cover off and see what you had. Then he bought me a little Kodak 126 film user of my own. In my teenage years I actually got thrown out of a Motley Crew / Whitesnake concert for taking pictures. Had 2nd row seats too, but couldn't resist. Ahh - the 80s. Went to college, got married and put the cameras away for a while until Noah was born in 1997. Then the photgraphy bug bit again HARD, and I haven't stopped since. Poor Noah has had about 5,000 pictures taken of him by now, and it is wearing a bit thin. I also like to take pictures at weddings and will photograph weddings for friends. Right now I am currently into digital photgraphy and experimenting with rangefinders. I have always lived in the Delmarva area, growing up in Crisfield and Marion, Maryland and now living on Tangier Island, Virginia in the Chesapeake Bay.
