Born in Tokyo in 1960, I have lived there ever since.

My hobby is photographing the scenery I encounter in daily life.

I have moved on from DSLR cameras; nowadays, I carry only a smartphone or an action camera.

I am experimenting to see if I can create images using only the interplay of light and shadow—works that, upon viewing, evoke the sounds, scents, colors, and motion of that specific moment, stimulating all five senses.

I am also exploring the process of "floating" my camera within the flow of time to capture and isolate a single instant as a work of art (VideoStills are one example of this).
