Born in Tokyo in 1960. Has lived in Tokyo ever since.

Began seriously pursuing photography in 2003.

Genres are "everyday life" and "nude."

While nude works overwhelmingly outnumber published works, recently I've become more interested in photographing everyday life.

I'm experimenting with creating works using only light and shadow that evoke the sounds, smells, and colors of that moment, stimulating the five senses when viewed.

I'm interested in floating the camera within the flow of time and capturing a single moment to create a work of art. (VideoStill is one example.)
