Born and brought up in Manchester. Moved to Rossendale, Lancashire when I was 24 and from there to Lincolnshire. Recently moved back to Manchester after 25 years as a teacher in the East Midlands. I'm a teacher of English, drama and film studies but would have rather done art at university!

I have drawn and painted all my life and have exhibited in several small galleries as well as the Manchester Academy of Fine Art.
