Due to the unfortunate proliferation of AI-generated "images" here on Flickr, I have been gradually unfollowing other photographers and moving my photography to other platforms like BlueSky, Grainery Film App and Facebook. Eventually, I'll be closing this account, but have left a few images that mean something to me and my family.

(Update: as of September 2024, I have removed all my images and unfollowed all my contacts and am only keeping this account open to promote my views to anyone who'll listen).

If you, like me, believe AI is destroying photography, please sign the open letter against the mining of artistic works for training artificial intelligence; agreeing with the following statement:

“The unlicensed use of creative works for training generative AI is a major, unjust threat to the livelihoods of the people behind those works, and must not be permitted.”
