MY RECENT BOOKS
• Guernica, 2007. Seventy years after the bombing of Guernica in 1937, I became interested in all of the things that could not have been photographed in 1937 in this Basque city because, meanwhile, the world had changed. As improbable in 1937, as the subjects I have photographed (supermarket, parking lot, etc.), are the pictures themselves which I created with the help of a computer. The book also presents three sculptures in which I place my photographs of Guernica and images of the 1937 tragedy side by side. 38 pages.
• La Seine. One of the most famous rivers in the world without cheating - in other words, all that is beautiful along this river, but also some of its less attractive aspects. 66 pages.
• Euro-outskirts. I have observed a rather unexpected yet rich rule for this book : only ten photos published for each of the ten European capitals I chose to take pictures of : Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Copenhagen, Lisbon, London, Madrid, Paris, Rome, Vienna. However, instead of roaming the centres of these cities, I have been to places visitors don't see - the outskirts. 108 pages.
• A la lisière de Paris (On the edge of Paris). On either side of a legendary boulevard - the "Périphérique" - which encircles Paris, is a world apart that this documentary invites you to explore. 110 pages.
