With digital photos, a Watermark is a faint logo superimposed over the top of the Image. The idea of placing an online Watermark on Original Art is to show that a particular image is Copyrighted, and It may Not Be Copied and/or used elsewhere Without the Written Permission of the Owner. When It’s Created, It’s Copyrighted.

I do also register my images with the copyright office, so it is not legal to use any image(s) commercially without contacting me and/or a proper license.

If you purchase any of my Photographs, of course, there will be no Watermark on the Photo.

“Watermarking Online Art” is simply a way of protecting my Copyrights to My Original Images.

Photography, as all Art, is better viewed in person under correct lighting to appreciate subtle details.
