I started picking up this hobby "photography" again last year (2012) after almost 3 decades.

At my present age, I felt too old to carry heavy photography gear. Therefore I went for mirrorless camera and picked Nikon 1 V1.

Yes, there are limitation in function and picture quality, but as an amateur, I am still enjoying Nikon 1 V1 and its kit lenses; and I think I would stick with it for a while.

My goal, my challenge....... to push my vision and skill to the limit as Nikon 1 V1 would allow. I think there is still a large space from the ceiling when I review my present pictures and to compare with many talented photographers'.

I have created a facebook group named as "Mirrorless Photography Action" to meet and share with friends who also use mirrorless cameras.

Well.... after 4 years, I switched to another mirrorless system, FUJIFILM X-T2 in beginning of this year (2017). I am so glad that I have made the switch. FUJIFILM X-T2 is miles better in design and placement of switches/buttons; perhaps the small capacity of its battery is the only shortcoming. It does not mean I don't like the Nikon 1 V1, it had been my companion for 4 years and given me a lot of good and joyful memory as seen in the pictures here.
