Hi! I hope you enjoy my photos as much as I enjoy taking them. Its my de-stress time to get away from work etc. I am a hobby photographer and only taken to photography in about 2012 after buying a Nikon L820 and then moving onto the D5200. . Most of the shots are landscapes and macro or anything else that takes my eye. I dont do people at this time but you never know.

If anyone is slightly interested in my photos, for you information I do not use Photoshop to edit my images. The only editing program I use at this stage is the NX2 program that comes with the L820/ D5200 I purchased. I use this program to adjust the contrast, sharpness, colour, light and exposure and to crop.

I do plan at some stage in the future to use Photoshop to stack macro photos as I find it hard to get a whole macro subject in focus eg:insects.

I am also considering using Photoshop in the future to get rid of those annoying sun spots you dont see until you get home when shooting into the sun.

Which is not to say I do not enjoy Photo shopped images many are saved as my favorites but for me the fun is in taking them and not processing them. That is a whole new skill set I have yet to learn.

2018...updated to a d5600 and started using Photoshop for landscapes etc.......I might become a convert........amazing what you can do.......not really photos but I will call them Photo Art! Im becoming a convert on the bad side now it takes so much longer to process the photos I have taken, as I muck around in Photoshop creating different effects.
