January 2025 and as we start a new year, we find that we are reflecting on our time on flickr and realize that much has changed and so we are thinking we may take a step back and be less active. Less active is the key word as we have so many wonderful online friends that we don’t want to lose. We have noticed that many of our friends have also taken a step back for various reasons and some have not renewed their subscriptions.

We are finding that the comments that people post are more demanding and often more graphic and that is not who we are. We also find that there is more AI generated material and again while it is a form of art, it is not what we enjoy.

Art is found all around us, in the beauty of Mother Nature, in the architecture of what we create, in the beauty of a model posing and most important in the eye of the beholder. Anyone can point a camera and click to make an image, a true photographer sees the art and is able to capture that with their camera. We are so lucky to have friends here that are true artists and we thank you for sharing your artwork.

If you happen to recognize us, shhhh, just enjoy the interaction, I won't tell if you won't.

Just wanted to tell those that can't figure it out, I am part of a couple who enjoy the many types of photography shared here. Hubby and I both participate on the site, yes, he reads your messages and really doesn't find some of you very humorous if that is your intent with your myriad of suggestions.

We have very few people that we find we like to interact with (tend to be less than 50) and we tend to interact both through comments and flickrmail. This allows us to actually get to know the people behind the wonderful images we enjoy.

We are not prudes but don't tend to look at graphic sexual images, the human body is a beautiful thing and we do enjoy viewing images of a sensual, erotic nature. I think you will find that most of those we follow tend to have artistic images and that may include artistic nudes.

Oh, by the way, I will not meet you nor phone you nor skype you, nor facetime you. We are here for fun and to interact with many wonderful photographers many of whom share some wonderful images of their partners. That is all, end of sentence, end of discussion. So, no I will not meet you.
