I live on the wonderful West Coast,Vancouver Island and love the beach, nature and all its spectacular beauty. My magical mystery tours take me to all sorts of places where I click away and see what happens. My eye sees weird and wonderful things and I try to capture that with the camera. Photography has always been a passion of mine but I am a newbie with my new digital camera; just started in September 2007.
I have continued to explore the world of photography with my photographer guy and editting. My true passion still lies with the pureness of our world but the artist in me loves to explore the beauty and intrigue that lies within a shot. Hidden treasures are a new challenge to me.

The real gift that a photographer at any level can give to anyone is the ability to share the art of seeing the world around us and photographing it in such away that our emotions are stirred. Her photographs are the perfect examples of pathos. My friend, Diana (aka ladydipim) has that gift. I am a witness. I believe in her. Diana is Vancouver, and Vancouver is Diana. If you have never visited the Pacific Northwest you have missed a lot. Vancouver is a whole different world. It is a world of seashores and landscapes that make you shout – and shout again. Vancouver is Diana’s world, her paradise, her treasure, her garden of good and no evil. It would be an honor to stand next to Diana while she is capturing Vancouver especially one of Vancouver’s sunsets. Diana has a captivating gallery of photographs. However, Diana and I are kindred spirits when it comes to sunsets. They are amazing. My favorites photographs are: Sunset Deep Cove Oct 12, 2007 044; Sunset Deep Cove Oct 12, 2007 159; Sept 7, 2007 Dallas Rd Sunset Trip 057; and Sunset Outside of Spinnakers Pub Oct 23, 2007 067. All seem to be a rich interplay of subdued light and dark colors and hues. Her work is pure poetry. Martin Luther King, Jr. once said, “if a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven played music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well”. I am convinced that you are not a street sweeper; you are a photographer- ONE OF THE VERY BEST. Please continue to photograph as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven played music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. This is all I ask of you.
