Rainer's images have caught my eye a long time ago. Over a year in fact. Perhaps more. What caught my eye was the beauty which was evident in every single photo. Whether the subject was a delicate flower or a stone castle, it was photographed to perfection with the highest skill imaginable. I feel though that the great Ansel Adams expressed better than I can what I'd like to say about Rainer's images: "We don't make a photograph with just a camera. We bring to the act of photography all the books we have read, the movies we have seen, the music we have heard and the people we have loved." I would have loved to travel through the Himalayas, and maybe I will do so one day. But, until then I have your images to enjoy. As a person, I better use a quote here as well. Someone once said that: "Best friends are like diamonds, precious and rare. False friends are like leaves, found everywhere." Rainer is a real diamond. "salzherz" is truely an artist, who can use extraordinary approach to compose a scene and tell you a story! I really love the way how "salzherz" captured the lights, which is so unique and beautiful in his style. The angle and lights are so dynamic and inspiring to me, I can imagine I am at that moment and I really love all the stories(photos). He is so talent to use photography as a way to communicate with others, no need to say a word, but you can definitely feel what is inside. No matter HP series, nature captues or architectures, he always frame them in an artistic way, and the colours are so vivid and beautiful, esp I really love the golden tone and greens from his works, which I can feel so close to life, and I can also feel his passion on photography. Kumusta Ranier? I've never written a testimonial before. Of course it is only very fitting that the first I wrote will a testimonial for you my friend! Ranier, he was one amongst the very first set of people to be included in my contacts list. There were initially 3. The first time I saw his stream of photos I was left struck and dumbfounded with the colours and the manner he approached his every shot. He took care of every frame with attitude and care that a painter will - sketch, draw, mix paint, and proceed, delicately adding his own touch and love to his work. One look and it was easy - I recognized an artist, a good soul. His photos as you can very easily see are an artist's work. A very supportive and generous man, his talent and love for the medium is well founded. His photographs never ceases to awe and inspire. Dass er nebenbei oft und stets konstruktiv unsere Bilder kommentiert, freut einen dann umso mehr, weil man Kommentare, die von einem so ausgezeichneten Fotografen kommen, einfach höher werten muß!
