I love cats, birds and spiders. I also like to make jewelry - the stitching and weaving kind and more recently I've added memory wire as another type of jewelry to make.

I also love filmmaking. I originally went to art school and studied commercial photography, but goofed off too much and traded in my interest in photography to filmmaking many years later - digital filmmaking. While I have yet to put anything out there or give Steven Spielberg a run for his money, I love tinkering around as a hobby more than anything else. Some things do apply as far as photography/video goes, but work a bit backwards - exposure being one of them, along with film speed and things along those lines.

I recently purchased a Kodak Easyshare C182 and enjoyed it so much I went ahead and purchased a more upscaled model, the Kodak Easyshare Z980. Initially, I intended to use the cameras to shoot pics of jewelry I've made to sell on Etsy, but now have taken an interest in moving onto other things besides jewelry and the family cats. Eventually, and as experience permits, I might post them here. I also recently purchased a Nikon D3100 and am having fun with that..

I do have a high-end semipro digital video cam, a Sony VX2000 which can take pictures, but not nearly as good as a regular digital camera can. I have some nice pictures I took with it and after giving it some thought, I decided to post them. I would like or wonder if other people have taken pictures with their video camera and posted them on Flickr.
