For those of you who are new to Elisa's photostream...let me tell you, you are in for a treat!!! Elisa is so passionate about what she is photographing...that her spirit shines through each shot!!!! She definitely has "the eye" for discovering the beauty in nature!!! Many times she will post a series of photos...so you really can appreciate all aspects of her subjects. Elisa is one of the sweetest, most caring contacts on flickr...always with inspiring, positive, helpful comments...and visits on a regular basis!!! She is a flickr angel!!! ;-) She is such a truly good person...I am so proud to call her a very close, personal friend!!!!!!!!! We share so much fun...with our giggles, and jokes of the day!!! Elisa has been a terrific Flickr friend of mine for some time now and I'm so glad she decided to add me as a contact. She has one of the most stunningly beautiful photostreams I've had the pleasure of perusing. Many of her pictures I can immediately identify with because they showcase areas in this wonderful province of Ontario that I'm very familiar with. Armed with an amazingly keen eye, patience, determination and the ability to know what is going to make a great photo, Elisa's work incorporates four of the most important attributes I believe are necessary for any serious photographer. Check out her wonderful floral and insect macros and you'll see what I mean, you won't be disappointed. You'll instantly recognize a person who has a deep and wondrous sense of the reverence of life and the beauty that is the embodiment of all nature. Always generous with comments, awards and invitations, Elisa typifies the very qualities that make Flickr such a wonderful community of like-minded photo enthusiasts. Here is a photographer who demonstrates a genuine passion for each and every image that she produces. The quality of her photostream is truly immense and her chosen subject matter is clearly the source of both an obvious and a profound delight to her. However, for some mysterious reason, Elisa seems to lack confidence in her own abilities and all too frequently has a tendency to put herself down. This is ridiculous because hers is a talent driven by the heart...and it shows! My all-time favourite female photographer has always been the American-born Eve Arnold. A photo-journalist who's work spanned the 20th Century, Arnold once said that it's not the camera that's the instrument, but the photographer....and I believe that Elisa proves this to be so!
