Telescope trails

This is the result of merging 400 photos taken from the top of Mt. Locke in west Texas. It is worth mentioning that the colors of the trails are the real colors of the stars, no trickery whatsoever was involved in getting the trails with those colors.

 

In the center is one of two public telescopes from the McDonald Observatory, and you can see under the telescope the trail of lights from a car driving down TX-118 into Fort Davis, TX.
