Well today after work I finally decided to go out for a bike ride, its been way to long since I've last been on my bike so felt nice to be out riding along these rural roads again. I use to ride my bike pretty frequently too, kind of sad that my work is a little to far to bike, I mean I could if I wanted to but that would take at least 2 hours to get there. Though if I really pushed it I'm sure I could make it there in under two hours, still a little far to bike. If it was just an hour I'd do it, hell its what I did to get to school back when I was in College. Point is I miss biking around when I had nothing to do.
While I was out I figured I might as well take a photo of this glorious occasion, but I wasn't to keen on the idea of taking a shot on the road, even though this is a road bike. The road is a little barren, plus dealing with traffic/people sucks so I just walked my bike into this field I passed by for this shot. Since I like the extra depth and colour the grass gives. Sunset was actually not the greatest looking today, I really coloured this shot in post is basically what I'm saying. The setting sun was also behind me which helped even out the exposure with the sun and sky, I just helped it out some more in post. Either way I like how this shot turned out.
The title for this photo comes from a line in the song "The Good Life" by Frank Sinatra, or at least thats the one I'm thinking of.
