Today started with call from both of my parents, with conflicting information about a kitten. They found it outside of their house on the way to work. My dad told me to take it to the SPCA, and my mom told me to look after it for the day while she tried to find its owner or make other arrangements herself. End result: I have in my possession a small yellow cat that won't shut up about it and a pair of conflicting directives.
