Monkie Kid vs. Macaque B
As a fan of Sun Wukong (I just started reading 'Journey to the West') and classic cyberpunk, I wanted to combine both and create a small scene taking place in my own interpretation of Megapolis, the city where MK, the main character from the Monkie Kid series, lives. I was heavily inspired by Michael Yoshimura and his fantastic concept art, especially the 3D assets he created for Big Medium Small .
As always, although this is a digital MOC, everything you see here can be recreated by using existing LEGO pieces in their corresponding color schemes (apart from light emitting pieces that I used to create the illumination and effects). I haven't used any LEGO pieces that aren't available in the colors used here, nor have I used any building techniques that wouldn't work in real life.
