Mighty Mac at Dusk

Here's one of the prime reasons that I love coming up to the Mackinac area. Built in 1957, the Mackinac Bridge celebrated its 60th birthday this year. She still looks as good as the day she was created and still serves her purpose well, uniting the Upper Peninsula of Michigan with the rest of the state. We had been there off and on this day, hoping to get a Laker traveling under the span, but without luck. However, in the thirty or so minutes we were here at night, two of the freighters came through. Just about lit up as much as the Mac, the boat looks good, too. Just a little blurry due to the half second exposure. I still consider myself lucky to catch this.
