Patching Cracks

A lot of the plaster in my very old house is cracked and sagging. I found these neat little plaster washers on the internet. You screw them into the lathing and the plaster is pulled back up tight to the wall. The only bad part is that then you have to mud over top of 'em. Once again, the house is covered in dust.
