Little Planet, Big World

Our existence can really feel contradictory, can't it? I mean, how can we be so little even compared to this tiny planet we live on, yet to ourselves feel so important? If you ask me, that's not evidence of contradiction, but instead the universe's inconceivable abundance: the simple fact that in our reality there is just so much. There's things that are unknowably big, things that are unimaginably small, and everything thing in between. And for that matter, almost everything is both part of something greater and made up of something smaller.

So where do we tiny gigantic humans stand? Well, I think we stand where we stand. We can't imagine being a galaxy, and we can't imagine being an electron, so we might as well just get comfy imagining we're humans. I think we should just always try to remember that to the universe we're nothing, but, that said, we're not the universe. Feeling little is a good thing.
