Black Pencil Project and Maniniyot Community: Further Down South

Lake Sebu, South Cotabato - Last June 5, fourteen BPP and Maniniyot Community (MCom) volunteers went to the schools in Be Nef and Sitio T'nu-os. In which they've managed to distribute a total of 200 study kits to both schools. The study kits were made possible through the generous support of friends and contacts of MCom and BPP.

The distribution of kits has been planned for several months already by both BPP and MCom. BPP's dream to bring its pencil advocacy to more communities in Mindanao has been achieved. All thanks to MCom. Specially to Phillip 'Toto' Biboso for leading the group in identifying the beneficiary communities. Toto's team also made great efforts to visit the communities and raised the necessary school kits needed there.

In behalf of the communities and the volunteers who joined last Saturday, Bong Salamat to all who supported and believed in this cause. BPP and MCom will continue to reach both schools in Be Nef and T'nuos and looking forward for more communities in South Cotabato.
