There was some sort of Boro bike tour thing going on this Sunday and Herald Square was already aswarm with them when I got there around 8 in the morning.

Meanwhile, this shot is a first in a few respects. For one, I finally got around to trying the OM-2n. While I have designated it to be one of my night-shot cameras (along with the Pentax LX), it's extremely nice at daytime too. I used it with the Zuiko 100mm f/2.8 which is just as compact and sharp as the Pentax-M 100 f/2.8 which has so far been my benchmark for short telephoto lenses.

Secondly, I've had myself talked into trying a staining developer so this roll of HP5+ was developed with PMK Pyro (1+2+100 for 13 minutes at 70 F). Obviously, the stain is somewhat more apparent when scanning. It doesn't bother me that much.

What I noticed is a certain photo-journalistic look that it lent to this roll of HP5. I can also see it print really well.
