US Marine surveyors near Naco Arizona share with me the finer points of building a road along the border. Mexico starts on the other side of the wire fence. The two Marines are part of a 6000 person force deployed along the Arizona border as part of Operation Jumpstart. Reserve and National Guard forces are conducting jobs ranging from building roads and barriers to sitting in observation post along the border lands reporting activities to the Border Patrol.
