Reno grime
Before I knew it it was mid-October and I was itching for a photo trip even a short one. My brother joined me on a run down to Iowa City to see my daughter. Our route tried to make the most of our travels for railroad action and fall color. After picking him up we made our way down the river along CPKC. It was a brilliant morning and we were pleased to catch up to a unit tank train south of La Crescent, MN. We had overtaken the train by Reno but unfortunately it had one of the trademark CP filthy GEs pulling it. A shame since everything else was in place for a nice chase with many sets.
