VCU "Three Bears" by Anna Huntington, 1941. MCV Campus
The "Three Bears" sculpture was created by Anna Hyatt Huntington in stone after President Sanger saw the original sculpture at Brookgreen Gardens (South Carolina) and convinced the artist to make a copy for MCV. The statue was outside the Broad St. entrance to the hospital until 1987 when it was moved inside for preservation.
