Chaplain B. Gregory Edison Promotion
FORT BRAGG, N.C. (Jan. 30, 2015) - Chaplain B. Gregory Edison was promoted to the rank of colonel today at a ceremony held here at the Marshall Hall headquarters of U.S. Army Forces Command. Maj. Gen. Jimmie Jaye Wells, FORSCOM chief of staff, hosted the ceremony and administered the oath of office. Chaplain Edison is the chaplain personnel manager for the FORSCOM Office of the Chaplain. Originally from Texas, Chaplain Edison was commissioned from ROTC as an infantry officer. He later became a chaplain after completing his master's and doctorate in divinity.
