More than 200 Soldiers and their Family members attend the “Splish and Splash” outdoor pool grand opening May 24 as they participate in family-friendly competition such as watermelon eating contest and paddle boat races provided by Better Opportunity for Single Soldiers’ volunteers as they listen to alternative music by Jason X, a band from the Philippines. Patrons can enjoy the pool from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Sunday while Monday is reserved for pool maintenance unless Monday is a holiday.
