CLR-37 Marines Conduct Single-Channel Radio Exercise
CAMP KINSER, OKINAWA, JAPAN (Dec. 16, 2021) – U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Colton Newman, left, and Pfc. Tanner Ryan, right, both field radio operators with Communications Company, Combat Logistics Regiment 37, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, ground wire in preparation for a communications training event on Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan, Dec. 16, 2021. During the Single-Channel Radio Exercise, Marines used high frequency communications assets to communicate with other radio operators on various bases across Okinawa. 3rd MLG, based out of Okinawa, Japan, is a forward-deployed combat unit that serves as III Marine Expeditionary Force’s comprehensive logistics and combat service support backbone for operations throughout the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
