WSE Alumni Chapter Spring Dinner Meeting
The Watson School of Education hosted their spring dinner meeting on April 29. Over 40 WSE alumni and retired educators enjoyed dinner and conversation amongst friends and colleagues. Guest speakers, Dr. Robert Smith from WSE and Jerry Oates ‘95, ’03M, Principal of the Mary S. Mosely PLC, spoke about high school reform. The new officers for the Chapter were announced and Dr. Wetherill, Interim Dean, outlined plans to launch a new program for retired educators in the Cape Fear Region. Everyone enjoyed the educational dinner and the group looks forward to the next WSE Alumni event in October 2010.
